Collaboration

Amy Kalafut, the literacy specialist for Red Clay School District, graciously agreed to meet with me to discuss their work with the Collections series by HMH. Red Clay had teams of teachers working with consultants Denise Weiner and Bonnie Albertson to align the series with the Common Core, and Smarter Balanced. They worked together to create Unit Assassments that are now being revised and used for this school year.
